After many months of planning, hard work, and perseverance the City of Waynesboro is ready to hit the road.  It is the last of three pieces of Chesapeake & Ohio rolling stock from the Nordson (ex-New York Central Amherst Freight Station) Depot which has been donated to the Lake Shore Railway Association. The caboose and C&O coach have already made it to the Ohio Locomotive Works for restoration and now the biggest piece a Pullman built 10-roomette/6-double bedroom sleeping car made for the C&O in 1950 is finally in position.

The LSRA plans to use the sleeping car along with the coach and caboose on the Lorain & West Virginia Railway.
