Take a look at my progress over the past month of the destruction and reconstruction of my layout. It’s a lot of hard work but it is very rewarding in the end. More to follow!
The Destruction Begins…
Clearing out the downtown area.
Some sections of foam were easier to remove than others.
A clear board!
The hill and lake scenery proved to be hard to deal with.
After a few hours with a chisel and hammer the plaster mountain finally came down.
Without the backdrops the room seemed more open.
The three largest tables repositioned.
3/4 inch styrofoam in place.
Fields of Pink
First of 3 frames for the Top Level. This one is 3×6 feet.
3×6 foot frame with 1/2 inch MDF board on top.
